I've recently immersed myself in the world of art therapy, wellness, and yoga. This journey involves undertaking various courses about healing the nervous system and striving towards new certifications, which I look forward to sharing!
Looking to find a way through life's transitions? I have been down many paths as "a seeker" and have collected a lot of wisdom, tools and awakenings. Being neurodivergent, and having learned how to recover from trauma, grief, anxiety, menopause and burnout, I am now ready to guide others through what I have learned.
My background in public education, in-home childcare and other educational organizations often informs my writing. With a focus on Special Education, I've taught individuals spanning from Early Childhood to Adult Transition, serving roles like Autism Specialist and Parent Consultant.
Expanding my knowledge with a Master's in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado, I later ventured into teaching at the community college level. Additionally, I've been actively involved in numerous advocacy and activism initiatives as well as wrote a thesis on Occupy Wall Street.
Colorado has become my beloved home, where I thrive. I consider ideation as my superpower, and problem-solving comes naturally to me.
Education:
